Soup can be the healthiest and easiest thing you can make. It can be the simplest broth or can be laden with several ingredients for a satisfying meal in itself. First you need to determine if you want the the liquid to add flavor to your soup. If you are using meat on the bone in your soup, water will be fine because the meat and bones are going to flavor your soup. If you are making a vegetable soup water is a good idea so the vegetables are the most prominent flavor in the soup.

Pick a protein - chicken and mushroom lasagna meat, lean red meat or fish. The Paleo diet requires any of these forms of protein in your meal. Even though this is really a grown up's place, children are welcomed on Tuesday nights (where kids 12 and under eat free from 4-7PM). This is a busy eatery, so service can be slow. But then what's the rush when you can sit in a comfortable chair, relax, and catch up with your friends or watch a football or baseball (or whatever else's on)? The price here is rather high for a sport bar, but the portion size is very good, so you can save money if you go in groups and share your food.

Last Saturday, May 1st, I started back on raw foods again. So many symptoms have already begun to dissipate: no allergies, loss of belly bloat and fat already, joints aren't perfect, yet definitely less achy, and my energy is on the rise. I still have quite a bit of healing to do after my near year of relative indulgence, yet feel confident I've made the right decision. Comfort in this case eases many of the physical distractions so I can once again focus on and raise my vibration to grow my soul rather than fighting my body's signals just to fit in, or to pretend this level of health and honor for my body was a problem.

It's the end of a very long stress filled day. You're tired. You plop down on your couch beef brisket brine through the exhaustion, you feel your stomach rumbling. Too tired to cook anything, and too lazy to go back out in the world and buy something, you plop a frozen meal in the microwave.

The Farm of Beverly Hills at L.A. Live had its official grand opening last night. Guests had the opportunity to snack on an assortment of finger style foods, such as Pistachio Crusted Chicken Fingers with Sweet Potato Fries, Veggie Burgers, BBQ smoked beef brisket Sandwiches, and Vegetable Pizza. Are you hungry yet? I know I am.

Of course Jay is a small town and everything is in easy walking distance. It's not hard to take a camera and take photos of interesting flowers, trees, and more on the way. Jay does lack a movie theater, or video rental store but there is a Red Box at Wal-Mart. Aside from the aforementioned cafes and fast food places and benefit food items you can find from time to time, you can also enjoy dinner specials from the local convenience stores. Okie Mart has things like salisbury steak, lasagna, chicken fried steak and bbq brisket. All the convenience stores in the area sell pizza, chicken strips, bagel dogs, sandwiches, and more to go as well.

Serve healthy pizza. Pizza doesn't have to be greasy and oozing with sauce. Have a couple of premade pizza doughs (such as Boboli) on hand and experiment with healthy toppings that cater to your family's individual tastes. We love to have Mexican Pizza for example layered with refried or slow cooker bbq brisket black beans then salsa onions olives and a bit of cheese. It cooks in less than 10 minutes. Another idea we use a lot: purchase a plain frozen cheese pizza and let the kids pile on their own healthy toppings.

Mix the OJ, Cranberry, in bbq beef hula hoops nutrition pitcher; place in the freezer if desired to get icy cold. Fill stemmed glasses half full with the wine. Pour enough of the fruit juice mixture into each glass to fill; stir.
