I admit, I am not a morning person, combine that with a house full of people to get out the door (two of them being preschoolers) and the need to avoid rush hour traffic and long drop off lines at the school and a morning routine or schedule is not only helpful, but essential. Of course as my children grew up (my oldest is 21) these routines change but there are few tips I can share for preventing morning madness.Prevent Morning Madness: Breakfast at Night?

You can never go wrong with the Elephant Bar specials. There specials change all the time. Just ask for the special and you will get a great deal. The special platters are usually $10.99 or so and are a great deal. I remember getting bbq ribs once and they were great! The meat was juicy and tender, and the sauce they used on it must have been created in heaven. Every bite brought me exquisite delight. I must say those were some tasty ribs. The Spaghetti at the Elephant Bar is also Excellent.

There are new ways which include boiling the meat in sauce or water then adding sauce. The idea here is that the sauce is cooked at the same time with the meat, thus allowing blending or mixing of the two. Another emerging method is through baking. This can be done through the use of an oven slow cooker pork ribs or using a pot which you put on the stove. In here, you mix all the ingredients together with the sauces and put in the oven. Since these methods only take about 30 minutes to 1 hour to cook or prepare the meal, they are usually done when you are busy or there is no time to cook the barbeque properly. However, these methods are often not the best way to prepare the barbeque.

Expert veterinarian and noted author, Dr. Richard Pitcairn comments in his book bbq ribs canine nutrition that in the 15 years of recommending raw dog food diets to his clients, he has never encountered a case of E. coli or salmonella.

The Elephant Bar has a very relaxing and jungle like appearance. They have giant leaves that move back and forth on the ceiling. They also have nice trees in the entrance that look great. The whole look makes you feel like you are eating in the jungle, or at least creates the illusion that you are. Bottom line the atmosphere is very relaxing and great.. I hope this review can help you find something to eat and drink that you can enjoy at the Elephant Bar. Have a great day and farewell!

This is one of life's great pleasures. To this day I still remember being at Tamaki Primary School in New Zealand and being transported by the smell of the pies arriving for school lunch, the aroma wafting down the hall and cutting through our attention spans like an oxy-acetylene torch applied to a block of butter.

Purple nail polish comes in so many different shades that it can be worn throughout the seasons to nearly any occasion. There are lavender, eggplant, and true purple nail polishes popping up everywhere.

One of the most popular beef stew in France. Boeuf bourguignon is a traditional dish from Burgundy. This is a recipe that french people love to cook at least once every winter. The beef meat is prepared in a red wine, not surprisingly a red wine from Burgundy. Onions, bacon, carrots and mushrooms offer flavor to the recipe. Szechuan Chicken and Broccoli : Chances are very strong you've dined on this classic Chinese dish at a restaurant. That is truly unfortunate. Most Chinese restaurants will destroy the broccoli due to over-cooking it, not to mention the fact they will load the dish not only with MSG but also a processed gunk they call a sauce. When properly prepared at home, this is an incredibly nutritious meal.

Those of you who know me, know that I am a foodie. That's right, I love the look, taste and smell of food and I love trying foods of different cultures. I have been asked often which is my favorite cuisine, but that's almost impossible to say. However, Asian food has a special place in my heart. When I refer to Asian food, I am primarily referring to Thai, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Indonesian. The spices are always unique and they each have dishes that they make their own.

These warm triangle shaped pastries filled with spinach, onion seasoning and spices were yummy. The spices were not over powering and the dough was soft and puffy. Not at all like the flaky fillo dough of Spanakopita, but just as tasty.

The Family Table, 14132 S. Tamiami Trail, North Port requires reservations for Thanksgiving dinner. You can call 941-423-0473. Their menu includes roast turkey, baked Virginia ham, lamb shanks in slow cooker, stuffed grouper, and a broiled seafood platter.

How about a pot of chili or a tasty lamb curry in less than 20 minutes? Or a nice beef pot roast in around 30 minutes? Or a large whole chicken or a pot of un-soaked beans cooked to perfection in about 20-25 minutes? Mashed potatoes in three minutes? It's no joke: In the time it will take you to watch the evening news, your families dinner will be ready -- and delicious.

Agave You can also attend the New Year's Eve Party at the Agave lounge, which is located at 415 East 6th Street in Austin. For more information and curried lamb reservations please

Neither Mezze nor spicy lamb curry The Fat Lady is a club in the strict sense of the word. Rather they are two of my favorite bars that happen to be located in restaurants, really good restaurants. Both of these bars are places where you can sit and have a great drink, surrounded by other folks doing the same. Or you can sit, have a great drink or a glass of wine, and order dinner from the menu to eat at the bar. Don't you love that?

Arpeggio off of Airport Blvd might be my most frequently visited healthy restaurant. Its dishes consist of humus, warm pita with tzatziki sauce, falafel, gyros, kebabs, and lamb shank. This will please both vegetarians and carnivores alike. The atmosphere is very awesome and immediately gives you that relaxed Mediterranean vibe. The runner up is Verts, a Turkish restaurant where everything is always fresh. Do give it a try and ask for the Berlin-inspired Kebab.

There are lots of factors that can explain why you are having some difficulty getting pregnant. If you think you are alone on this one, think again. There are millions of women all over the world who are having trouble conceiving a baby. This is entirely normal.

My husband chose a slow cooker mediterranean chicken breast dinner and my daughters both at the Lucerne Eating Right Macaroni and Cheese meal. My husband was not quite as disenchanted with his choice as I was with mine. My daughters both said their macaroni and cheese was "good," when they were finished. It is not difficult to please them, however, when macaroni and cheese are involved.

Taco soup is a delicious option to traditional tacos. But when you make it with chicken and use a slow cooker, it's not only delicious but it's healthier and easier too. Try this new take on an old soup recipe and see for yourself.

Modern slow cooker chicken cookers have come a long way since half a century ago. There is even a "smart pot" now, which is the new, improved crockpot. This is a programmable crockpot which has more temperature settings, better features and improved reliability. Slow cooking has always been a timesaver but with this new wave of crockpots and smartpots you can do even more.

We each had a cocktail and entree. When we finished the meal, the waiter removed the plates, inquired if we would care for dessert or another cocktail. He did this several times, and he finally asked if we would like our check. The checks, not including tip, were over $30. When adding the tip, the meal cost for the 2 couples was close to $75.

How many people in Ireland will be eating corned beef and cabbage this St. Patrick's Day? My guess is about three or four. Why? Well to be honest corned beef and cabbage isn't that popular of a dish on the Emerald Isle and as Americans are known to do regarding holidays which are not native, they tend to bastardize. Also, there is no green beer in Ireland!

Arizona and Wisconsin are a far cry from Texas, but one taste of the slow slow cooking brisket, and you'd swear you were in Texas Hill County. The you tube beef brisket in slow cooker, pulled pork, ribs and hotlinks are some of the best around regardless of location.

I ended the bottle with two local cheeses. In the presence of a nutty, mild Provolone the Cabernet Sauvignon retained most of its characteristics but didn't meld well with the cheese. A marbled, yellow and orange Cheddar cheese flattened the wine.

A manual crock pot offers essentially one fundamental heat control. Due to its low price, they're the most typical version. The manual crock pot includes a simple knob selector that says "low", "Medium", and "High". Whenever using a manual rival slow cooking brisket, you should definitely keep an eye on the time. It's going to be up to you to turn it off.

This stands true for both a delectable flavor and a juicy, tender texture. I have seen a variety of methods to slow cook beef ribs. Some as simple as throwing them in a crock pot to some very elaborate setups to maintain the desired temperature and keep in the moisture during the long cooking time.

When choosing smoking wood, choose wood that is seasoned. That is, wood that is at least aged for 6 months to a year. The popularity of smoking wood has made things easier as far as finding it is concerned. Most home improvement centers and even many grocers now carry the more common smoking wood. For some of the more rare smoking wood, sources are readily available through online sources. I befriended the owner of a tree service. He lets beef brisket how to cut know when he's going to trim or cut down a tree that I can use for smoking. One fruit tree can supply me with several years of smoking. He's happy that I'm hauling it away and I'm happy to find the wood. It's just one source I use to track down smoking wood.

At the first sips the wine presented bright acidity. It was sour but not unpleasantly so. The initial meal was a slow cooking beef stew with chick peas and potatoes. With the beef Zinfandel tasted of jam. There was tobacco in the background; this wine was definitely mouth filling. When accompanying the chick peas the wine was round and long; with the potatoes it was rich.

My final meal began with tomatoey barbecued chicken wings. This Primitivo was round and mouthfilling. I had the impression that the wine melted into the wings. Next was barbecued chicken breast in an almost identical sauce. My reaction was basically the same but the wine became more acidic and I tasted tobacco as well. The side dish was one that I really enjoy, potatoes roasted in chicken fat. Now plums came to the fore. A fresh tomato didn't faze the Primitivo at all; the wine was acidic, musky, and tasty. Although this is not a dessert wine, I paired it with two desserts. In the face of delicate almond meringue cookies the wine was not very expressive; it was round, light, and tasted of cherries. When it met fruit juice candy the wine was quiet, perhaps because it was overwhelmed.

If you need your stew to thicken you may use a few of the all reason flour and place three tbsp inside a bowl. Add a cup of drinking water and stir to sort a paste. Pour this paste into the gradual cooker.
